Brainwalk (COVID-19 Challenge)
Our award-winning collaboration with the Encephalitis Society is a fantastic force for good. Along with raising awareness for encephalitis, a brain inflammation disease, the app allows you to join a global team in traversing the world. You can do this either by physically walking and contributing your step count or by completing a series of games. Assisted by the charming Brian the Brain, you can play crossword puzzles, sudokus and a range of other games. A newsfeed keeps you connected to other people around the world, and you can even form your own team of friends and family too.
iPrescribe Exercise is a great way to keep active, or get active. After completing a health profile during registration, the app will provide a bespoke, week-by-week exercise regime to allow you to meet targets and build your fitness. Many health conditions are considered when applying this regime to your profile, so you can rest assured that you will be provided a programme that is right for you. You can set fitness goals and track your progress as you go. A range of activities are available, along with guided videos, that will allow you to keep track of your sessions.
Health Swap (Down’s Syndrome Active)
Designed in collaboration with the Down’s Syndrome Association, Health Swap is a fantastic app that helps people with Down’s syndrome to make healthier choices, and stay active. With a collection of easy-to-follow recipes and activity tracking, Health Swap provides a wealth of things you can do to keep busy and healthy. You’ll even be rewarded with badges for a job well done!
With an hour of exercise available every day, why not take a brisk walk around your city with the help of virtual guide, Tramble? As you wander through your city, you will uncover points of interest that you may never have noticed before. With the added bonus of finding clues as you go, Tramble is a fantastic way of keeping active and learning more about where you live.
