The app is the perfect medium to present everything in this project – the film, two albums, videos, and lots of extras; all interwoven and all interactive. It’s stylish, instant, cutting edge, and the shake to switch between soundtracks feature truly is the bomb.
Julian wanted to produce a creative, interactive experience for his fans which would allow them to watch a personal documentary, listen to his album and explore his artwork.
We worked with Julian Lennon to help him convey his message 'here is my story, you choose how to consume it'. The Distance used the DVD extras to produce a highly immersive user experience, offering unique insight into Julian's world with secret "Easter Eggs" to hidden features and material. We worked through the interactive design and development of the digital portions of the larger campaign focusing on creating an immersive and exploratory experience.
