THE BRIEF
Luxury tour operator Destinology partnered with The Distance to help them deliver a concierge app for their travel customers. The application was intended to provide a single source for all information and support before, during and after a user's holiday to enhance Destinology's offerings.
THE PROBLEM
Destinology traditionally handled all communication and customer support via email and their websites. As they are a luxury tour operator, they identified that this wasn't an ideal solution for their customers as they would expect a better experience.
Destinology wanted to enhance its services and give users more control over their booking and direct communication with support. They wanted to create something that users could access with ease and utilise while travelling.


THE SOLUTION
The Distance understood the requirements and looked to design an engaging digital experience to represent the premium brand.
The application was created to provide a clear and concise view of the traveller's holiday itinerary, dynamically changing throughout their vacation. Giving the user real-time updates and also direct communication with a support team if any issues occurred.
THE RESULTS
The application provided users with an effective quick access reference for all parts of their trip from travel times to booking vouchers, as well as a real-time chat service.
It enhanced Destinology's overall service and provided that premium experience, as well as giving their users self-control over their bookings.
