Offspring is a savings management platform designed to help families save together. Users can set savings goals for anything from birthday presents to major life events, invite family and friends to contribute, and send personalised thank-you messages for their support.
Recognising the importance of financial education for younger generations, Offspring wanted to create a platform that made it easy for parents and family members to set up and manage savings accounts for children. The focus was on simplicity, manageability, and effortless contributions, ensuring a seamless saving experience for families.

Offspring had a comprehensive understanding of the financial and legal side of working with banks and savings accounts, but they needed support on how to make an application and CMS. They knew what was needed, but didn't know how to get there.

They provided insights into critical aspects like integrating with Stripe for familiar payment flows, addressing security concerns like a KYC process, and navigating the nuances of banking applications.
THE RESULTS

To enhance accessibility, The Distance also created a progressive web application alongside the traditional mobile app. This allowed users to enjoy the same seamless experience via a URL, eliminating the need for app downloads, which is particularly beneficial for guest contributors.
