Icon Status is a new brand born from an independent board sports retailer established over 25 years. When the recession hit, Roger decided it was high-time for a new future online. He already owned a warehouse and just needed an online storefront. Roger had dabbled in various websites previously but had always been left disappointed when it came to moving to the next natural level of progression. He approached The Distance looking for a long term partner for his venture and we set about creating his ecommerce infrastructure and digital marketing strategies.

I came up with the concept for Icon Status in order to find a niche business which would give a nod to the incredible achievements of many of the performers in the board sports arena.
From my first meeting with Ryan over a coffee at my local, to the launch of my website, The Distance have developed my concept with professionalism and unbounded enthusiasm. I’ve seen the website grow from the germ of an idea to the fully functioning and professional-looking entity it is now. This would not have been possible without the synergistic approach of all the key personnel at The Distance.
Any issues have been handled in a proactive way, with key personnel assigned to each task in hand, always maintaining a professional and courteous working relationship.
I could not have conceived of being at the stage of development I am at now without the support and professionalism of all at The Distance.
